A bronze sickle, formed as a curved casting with one flat face, the other face slightly ribbed. The edge to the inside, with two piercings for fixing at one end.
Late Bronze Age Europe: Circa 1200-500 BC.
Condition: Very Fine; good stable bronze with a pale green patina.
Length (measured along the outside edge) 17 cms (6.7 ins).
Provenance: Ex German collection, 1990s.
