A Byzantine / Late Roman terracotta oil lamp with a distinctive solid rear handle decorated with a Christian cross. The area around the discus is decorated with a rope pattern, with a secondary cross above the nozzle.
Eastern Mediterranean: Circa 500-650 AD.
Very Fine condition.
