A good-sized wheel-made buff clay oil lamp with classic 'pinched' nozzle and rounded bottom.
Canaan: Circa 1550-1200 BC.
Very Fine condition; complete and intact.
Length 14.3 cms (5.6 ins).
Provenance: Ex Judge Steve Adler collection Jerusalem, acquired since the 1960's. Exported with export approval licence of the Israel Antiquities Authority. Judge Steve Adler is the author of the informative book 'Oil Lamps of the Holy Land; The Adler Collection'.
