A Celtic La Tene bronze fibula brooch. Of simple form and made from a single piece of bronze, which forms the body spring and pin, the foot with catch plate and a coiled bronze terminal.
 
Celtic Europe La Tene III: Circa 4th-3rd century BC.
 
Condition: Fine, with good bronze, the surface scraped away at the foot to expose the bright bronze below.
Height 4.5 cms (1.8 ins).
 
Provenance: Ex German private collection 1980's-1990's.
