A relatively small but fine quality bronze figurine statuette of the god Osiris in typical mummiform pose. He wears the divine and atef crown fronted by an uraeus serpent. In his hands he holds the customary implements, the crook and flail. At the base, a small tang for fixing. Fitted to a custom-made stone display stand.
Late Dynastic Period Egyptian: Circa 6th-4th Century BC.
Very Fine condition; complete and intact and with good solid bronze, and attractive dark olive-green patination.
Height of figure 7 cms (2.75 ins) including stand 9.2 cms (3.6 ins).
