A green faience stamp seal. The base is cut in deep relief to depict two standing figures, which have been interpreted to depict a Pharaoh, wearing the Pschent (the double crown of Egypt consisting of the white crown (Hedjet) of Upper Egypt and the red crown (Deshret) of Lower Egypt) symbolizing the ruler's dominion over the entire country, standing before a god with a solar disc, possibly Ra. This interpretation suggests the seal was used to reinforce the authority of a king, perhaps in an official or religious context. The top has a pierced handle with lotus flowers radiating off each terminal. Supplied with the modern hard wax impression.
