A grey pottery figure of a servant, his hair done in a bun at the back and wearing a long robe. On his knees. Much of the original pink hued slip remains to the face, white slip to the body with red in places.

 

Han Dynasty: Circa 2nd century BC-AD.

 

Condition: Complete and intact, minor earthy accretions remaining.

Height 17 cms (6.7 ins).

 

Provenance: Ex London gallery: previously in a private Somerset collection and purchased in Bath 1990's.
