A tall, thin terracotta vessel, of the type known as 'spindle bottle'. (Such vessels were common in Israel during the Hasmonean period). It is though they were used to contain oils or scents.
Circa 300-100 BC.
Complete and intact with light accretions.
Height 15.8 cms (6.2 ins).
