A large 'spectacle' fibula. The fibula is finely patinated, with etched decoration around the central and outer spirals, each spiral terminating in tight coils and joining the two spirals.
Supplied with a purpose made metal stand.
Central European Bronze Age: Circa 11th-7th century BC.
Very fine condition: Good stable metal with rich green patina. A superb example.
