Condition: Complete and intact, the finer details worn.

Length 11.5 cms (4.5 ins).

 

Provenance: Private collection, Cambridgeshire, UK; acquired prior to 2000.

 

The Parthians believed their dead were constantly thirsty, therefore figures were often created holding bowls for offerings such as this example.
