A Roman green glass jar with a wide everted rim, and standing on a flattened base, indented towards the centre. The jar is decorated below the rim with an applied zig-zag trail, below which are seven pinched projections. Areas of green weathering and iridescence.
Circa 4th Century AD.
Condition: Very Fine, complete and intact, the glass a little weathered and bubbly, small stree crack (stable) to rim.
